About Tara…
As you may have guessed, Tara is the clinic’s Irish member! But you will soon notice her Parisian accent: this dual identity shapes her colourful personality. Cheerful and generous, she is passionate about life and about her work. Since arriving in Belgium she has fully embraced local customs, from Belgian conviviality to its culinary habits.
Her career: after graduating in dental science, Tara specialised straight away in endodontics. During this two-year certificate programme at the ULB she acquired all the skills needed to carry out every type of root canal treatment, from initial treatment to endodontic surgery, including simple and complex retreatments (fractured instruments, perforations, etc.).
Since then Tara has been a university assistant, actively involved in teaching endodontics to 3rd-year bachelor students, and a hospital assistant at the CHU Saint-Pierre in Brussels, where she supervises 1st and 2nd-year master students in dental science. Since 2018 she has also been in charge of the ULB endodontics certificate. She is also very active scientifically: she leads the module “Rediscovering the pleasure of endodontics” with the French Society of Endodontics, contributes to the Endosophie literature reviews and is associate editor of the journal Quintessence Endo.
Since 2015, Tara has spoken at many international conferences (IFEA, ESE, ADF, SMD, SFE…).
